Mansfield Stays Undefeated As They Pounce On Wooster, 45-21

The Mansfield Senior Tygers looked to stay undefeated on the season as the traveled to Wooster to take on the Wooster Generals.

Both teams were held scoreless in the 1st quarter, but Tyquan Vickers put the Tygers on the board in the 2nd Quarter with a 37-yard touchdown run. Wooster answered with 3:27 remaining in the 1st Half as Cameron Daugherty found Marquise Blair in the endzone to tie the game at 7-7.

With less than 2 minutes remaining in the 1st Half, Tyquan Vickers answered again for Mansfield, this time on a 12-yard run as the Tygers lead at the half, 14-7. Wooster responded to start the 3rd Quarter with a game tying 19-yard touchdown run from Martavious Dyson.

Mansfield Senior then answered with back-to-back rushing touchdowns from Malon Samuel and Tyquan Vickers.

Mansfield ended up earning the win, 45-21, as they go 8-0 for the 1st time since 1931. Tyquan Vickers finished with 27 carries for 218 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns.
