The (8-0) Mansfield Senior Tygers looked to make school history as they traveled to Minutemen Field to take on the (1-7) Lexington Minutemen. The Tygers jumped out to an early 21-0 lead in the first half behind rushing touchdowns from Jalen Reese and Tyquan Vickers. Reese also threw a 59-yard touchdown pass to his junior tight end, Mitch Nixon. The Minutemen did answer with a 3-yard touchdown run from Ryan Cooper to cut the Tyger lead at the half, 21-7. The second half was all Mansfield Senior as Jalen Reese recorded his second rushing touchdown of the night, Malon Samuel scored on a 5-yard run and Mario Davidson took it to the house on a 31-yard touchdown pass from Reese. The Mansfield Senior Tygers defeated the Lexington Minutemen, 44-7, and improved to 9-0 for the first time in school history.
