Original Published: 10/28/2013 Take a look at this photo from space. NASA scientists have found a galaxy that's not just far, far, away. It's the most distant from our own that's been discovered. Besides breaking the distance record, the galaxy has another impressive feature. It produces stars at a rate more than 100 times faster than the Milky Way. Scientists say the new galaxy is like a window into the past. It's so far away that it shows what things would have been like 700-million years after the big bang. The researchers findings are reported in the journal "Nature."
