Great music, colorful floats, unique costumes and of course lots of candy were just some of the highlights of the annual Downtown Mansfield Halloween Parade. The parade kicked-off at the intersection of Sturges, Park Avenue West and Bowman Street. Hundreds of people lined the parade route to enjoy the high school marching bands from Madison, Mansfield and Ontario. Candidates running for office in the November 5th election participated in the parade as well as groups with levies on the ballot. Miss Ohio Heather Wells, Miss Mansfield and Miss North Central Ohio were also in attendance. The festive evening began with Trick-or-Treating in the downtown area. Several merchants handed out candy to the children.
