Noon Optimist Club Hosting Coat Drive For The Community

  Original Published: 11/7/2013The Mansfield Noon Optimist Club is lending a helping hand to those in need in our community. The club will collect Coats for Kids, on Wednesday, Nov., 13 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Holiday Inn, 116 Park Avenue West. The club will accept new or gently used gloves, hats, coats, scarfs and blankets to donate to needy children in the area. Adult items will also be accepted. The Grace Episcopal Church on the corner of Third and Bowman Streets will also receive donations. The club expects to collect more than 170 articles of outwear.
