  Original Published: 11/9/2013 A dangerous operation is about to begin at the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan. Tepco, the operator of the site, says it's to start removing fuel rods from a crippled reactor there. The reactor was badly damaged in 2011 when a powerful tsunami hit the region. The total cost of the cleanup is estimated to be around $50-billion.
