Man Believed To Be Oldest Veteran Meets The President

  Original Published: 11/12/2013 Believed to be the oldest veteran in the country, a Texas man got to meet the President on Veterans Day. Richard Overton may not look it but he's 107 years old. The World War II veteran attended a ceremony in Texas over the weekend. Monday morning, he had breakfast in Washington with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. And then it was off to the wreath-laying cremony at Arlington National Cemetery. At 107, Overton still drives and cuts his own grass. He also has a much younger, 90-year-old girlfriend.
