New detectives join major crimes unit

  Original Published: 11/13/2013The law enforcement experience of three Richland County Sheriff deputies is paying off. Stacy Dittrich, Duane Kilgore and Joe Lewis have been promoted from road patrol to detectives. The trio are now part of the Major Crimes Unit. Dittrich has 22 years of experience, serving as a police officer for 18 years. Kilgore has 25 years of experience and Lewis has more than 21 years of experience in law enforcement. The new detectives duties will include investigating burglaries, homicides and rapes.
