Richland Bank found a way to have fun, and for a good cause, when 110 employees gathered for their monthly staff meeting Wednesday morning. They went to the Lexington Avenue Kroger store, drew six names for three two-member teams, and dashed up and down the isles looking for food items on a shopping list. Each team had five minutes to fill their cart with as much as they could, with the food being donated to Friendly House. Ninety-six items were collected, with Richland Bank footing the $275 tab. The bank also gave Friendly House a $150 Kroger gift card. Each member of the winning team was given a $30 Kroger gift card, with the second and third-place team-members each getting a $15 card. That adds up to a $545 staff meeting for Richland Bank.
