Original Published: 11/20/2013The Crawford County Sheriff's Office has a warning about a possible phone scam. Authorities say someone is calling local people, asking for donations for something called "Adopt A Family For Christmas." They're reportedly telling people it's a fundraising effort by Crawford County Job and Family Services. However, Crawford County Job and Family Services wants everyone to know, they are NOT involved with any operation asking for donations at this time. If you receive a call asking for donations for Adopt A Family For Christmas, on behalf of Crawford County Job and Family Services, contact the Crawford County sheriff's office at 419-562-7906.
