Preparations for another Christmas distribution are in full swing at Richland County Toy Time. Toys are being repaired, cleaned, and sorted as the more than four-decades-old organization tries to brighten the holiday season for needy children. Volunteer Craig Richardson says parents are coming in to register, but that's going at a slower pace than usual. And so is toy donation. He says Toy Time needs as many AA batteries as it can get, and more volunteers to prepare the toys. Amber Pranger of Mansfield, a mom of two young children who came in to sign-up for toys, says she appreciates the help in tough times. Registration runs through Wednesday November 27th, and toy distribution is Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th, at Toy Time headquarters at 280 North Diamond Street in Mansfield.
