Shots Fired In Plymouth Incident

A Plymouth man is in custody after allegedly attacking two police officer's earlier today.

During a struggle to arrest 37-year-old Daniel Cody Loera Jr of 34 W. Broadway St, a shot was fired by law enforcement. But "nobody was hit by the round", according to Richland County Sherriff Steve Sheldon.

Plymouth police chief Charles Doan says who fired the shots and how many were fired is still under investigation.

Officers were initially called to the scene for a reported domestic dispute.
