Mansfield leaf collection program update

The city of Mansfield crews will be starting curb side leaf collection in Area 2 which contains Zone 6 and 8.

The city expects the collection to take about 2 weeks to complete.

1 – Crew starting W. Cook and Woodhill working south west (Zone6)

1 – Crew starting in Royal Oak and working north east (Zone)

1 - Crew starting at Marion working west (Zone 8)

1 – Crew starting at S. Trimble working east (Zone8)

1 – Crew starting at Home Rd. working east (Zone8)

Once an area has been completed it will be documented on the City of Mansfield website home page under the 2013 Leaf program tab.

If you miss the curb side pick up you can bag the leaves and bring them to one of the three drop sites or compost them by mowing.

Also, when raking your leaves to the curb do not place them in the street. The city asks that you do not park in front of piles as this slows the pick up process and may cause leaves to not be picked up.
