The 11th Annual Mansfield Holiday Parade over the weekend was another crowd pleaser for both young and old alike. Hundreds of children and adults lined the sidewalks in downtown Mansfield, bundled up warmly as they braved some blustery winds and cold temperatures. The parade stepped off as the usual parade participants dressed in holiday attire with a number of walking units taking part and many floats from various organizations. The Mansfield Senior High School Marching Band played yuletide favorites as they made their way down the city streets. And father and daughter Jason Bowman and Cheyenne Horvath were on hand to watch the Madison High School Marching Band. The big hit, of course, was jolly old Saint Nick, as Santa Claus beamed a big smile and waved to everyone in attendance from atop a fire engine, especially local children, who were awaiting his arrival. More than 75 units participated in this year's Holiday Parade, sponsored by Downtown Mansfield Incorporated.
