Sugargrove Tree Farm in Ashland County is gearing-up for its annual Trees for Troops project. Sugargrove is participating in this nationwide event in partnership with FedEx and the Christmas Spirit Foundation, to deliver 17,000 Christmas trees to military families at 35 bases across the country. Five-dollars of the $25 cost of the tree will be given to the Christmas Spirit Foundation. Trees for Troops weekend is December 7th and 8th at Sugargrove Tree Farm, at 1619 Township Road 1455, but you're welcome to buy a tree before then.
