The Colts opened their season with a win over the Crestview Cougars Friday night with a final score of 80-46. The Colts set the tempo early and never looked back. The Colts played solid offense all night, turning the ball over only five times. Ridge Winand finished the night with 31 points, shooting 11 of 17 from the floor. He dropped in nine points in the first and third quarters and added eleven in the second. Fellow Colt Kadin Chrastina also had a good game, finishing with 20 points. The Cougars struggled offensively, turning the ball over 18 times in earnest. Their 6'7" forward, Bryan Hissong, dropped in 15 points in the fourth to finish the night with 22 total points. Next week, the Colts will journey to Ashland for an OCC matchup, and the Cougars will host Monroeville.
