Lexington Comeback Falls Short In Opener

The Lexington Minutemen found themselves down by 18 in the third quarter, but brought the game to within two points before falling to the Brunswick Blue Devils 55-49. The Blue Devils extended a six point halftime lead by dropping a barrage of three pointers in the third quarter. Lex chipped away at the lead by hitting their own outside shots in the fourth quarter. Lex was led in scoring by sophomore guard Joey Zahn with 12 points and senior guard Matt Barkett who had 11.
