Crawford Slips Past Flames

The Mansfield Christian Flames led for most of the evening, taking a 27-15 lead into the lockeroom at the break. But Colonel Crawford would control the second half action, outscoring the Flames 41-27 to come away with a 56-54 win at Mansfield Cristian.

The Eagles put two players in double figures with Connor McCreary getting 19 points followed by Todd Entenmann with 13. Nate Klingenberger also added nine to fuel the Eagles comeback.

Caleb Young had 17 to lead the Flames, while both Brendan Ernsberger and Brandon Mount had 11 each. Griffin Wood chipped in with six for Mansfield Christian andJon Rank had five.

The win puts the Eagles at 2-0, with games against Northmor on Thursday and Carey on Saturday coming up. Mansfield Christian fell to 1-1 and will also play two games this week, facing Highland Tuesday and Danville on Friday.
