Original Published: 12/1/2013Various vendors packed the Ashland Eagles Club over the weekend for a benefit fundrasing event for the U.S. Marine Corps ReserveToys for Tots Program.  Jennifer Rohrbaugh was the coordinator and lined up 35 vendors selling their wares to raise money for Toys for Tots. Rohrbaugh says for the donation of a new toy, those attending were given six free tickets for a raffle drawing and other tickets were also available for purchase, along with a 50-50 benefit drawing. The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
