Experimental Aircraft Crashes In Ashland County, Pilot Hurt

  Original Published: 12/4/2013 The crash of an experimental aircraft around 1 p.m. Wednesday in a field off of Perry Township Road 1600, north of Jeromesville in eastern Ashland County, was being investigated. The Ashland County Sheriff's Office says William Moore, 65, of 295 Township Road 1600, was the pilot of the plane, which crashed in a field near his home. Rescue personnel transported Moore to Ashland Samaritan Hospital before he was later flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Cleveland. His condition is unknown at this time.
