Original Published: 12/4/2013A long-standing holiday season tradition is underway again at Madison High School. Merry Madison Christmas will help nine families with a combined 28 children who are Madison school students, as they struggle through hard times. The entire staff and student body gets involved with various activities to raise money, and collect food, gifts, and new or gently used winter clothing. And co-coordinator Tracey Burden this effort brings as much holiday cheer to the givers as it does to the recipients. Family and Consumer Science, or "Food Power", classes will bake nearly 150 dozen cookies for the needy families. Contributions are certainly welcome from the community. Take them to the Madison High School office.
