Are you ready for winter? Are you ready for winter driving? A few simple tips from AAA of Ohio to keep you safe as you travel "over the river and through the woods" to grandma's house, this holiday season..

1) Make sure your car battery is properly charged- there's nothing worse than being stranded without warning.

2) Check the air and wear of your tires- not only does tire pressure affect your gas mileage, but the tread on your tires should be at an optimal depth, in order to "grip" the road and keep you safe.

3) Keep those wipers working- inspect your wiper blades monthly, to see if they're worn. damaged blades won't remove debris and will compromise your vision and safety.

4) Keep up with routine maintenance on your vehicle- it's a good idea to go in for a "check up". just as you'd go to the doctor once or twice a year, you should do so for your car. especially before winter weather strikes! For more tips and instructions, visit AAA.com.
