Saint Peter's cruise to victory over Lucas

Saint Peter's controlled their home opener and Mid-Buckeye Conference opener from the get-go as the Spartans won 80-27. Seven different scorers chipped in to give the Spartans a 20-7 lead after the first quarter. Leading the way for Saint Peter's was senior Joseph Rall who finished the night with 22 points, including 14 of them in the second quarter. The Spartans defense was equally as impressive holding the Lucas Cubs to just six field goals in the second half. The Cubs were led by junior Jakob Gerich, who had nine points on the night.
