West Holmes Edges Lex In OT

  Original Published: 12/13/2013The West Holmes Knights came back from nine points down in the second half to edge the Lexington Minutemen at Lexington 53-50 in OT. The Knights Brady Arnold led all scorers with 27 points followed by Josh Neer with 10 and Chance Cline with eight. Lexington was led by Brian Truax's 16 points, Matt Barkett had 12, Zach Temple nine and Joey Zahn eight. The Knights outscored the Minutemen 17 to 14 in the final period leaving the game deadlocked at 46 at the end of regulation. Lex jumped out to a quick lead in the extra period going up 50-46, but West Holmes outscored Lexington 7 to 4 in OT to improve to 4-0 in all games and 3-0 in the OCC. Lex falls to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
