Tygers Shut Down Arrows

The Tygers opened up a 9-0 lead after in the first quarter and never let the Arrows back in the game after that winning 56-41. The Tygers are now 2-0 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference. After the first quarter Mansfield Senior led Ashland 17-3. The Tygers were led offensively by senior Donovyn Benson who finished with a team-high 22 points, including 8-8 from the free throw line. Both seniors Dejorr Gibson and Asante' Wilder each chipped in with nine points. The Arrows struggled against the Tygers man-to-man defense turning the ball over 13 times. Grant Denbrow, Brett Vipperman and Issac White each had 10 points a piece to lead the Arrows.
