If you're looking to do something fun and for a good cause to kick-off 2014 consider participating in the annual Polar Bear Dip at Charles Mill Lake. The Polar Bear Dip Cold for the Cure will be held January 1 at 3 p.m. at Charles Mill Lake. The event raises money for the American Cancer Society and the LISA Fund for colorectal cancer research. No dippers under 18 are allowed without a parent or guardian present. For more information contact Chad at 419-606-1575 or Sheila at 419-651-6018. Last year more than 200 dippers participated.
