Willard Girls Go To 7-0

The Willard girls basketball team ran their record to 7-0 on the season with a 56-35 win on the road in New Washington against Buckeye Central. The Flashes held the Bucks to single digit scoring in the first, second and third quarters. The Flashes got 14 points from Hannah Adams, nine from Maggie King, eight from Marie Thornton and seven from Hannah Schlomer. Buckeye Central was led by Brooke Carl with 12 and Emily Weithman with nine. Willard also out rebounded Buckeye 33-29. The Flashes only turned the ball over 12 times while forcing 35. On Saturday Willard will play host to Tiffin Columbian, while Buckeye Central will be home to Crestline.
