Henne's Drafting and Art Supply Hosts Annual Winter Art Fest

Henne's Drafting and Art Supply is hosting its Winter Festival of Art once again. According to Mary-Lou Henne, 23 local artists are exhibiting their works in Henne's gallery for the show. The works range from oil paintings, to watercolors and pastels, and even incorporates other forms of art such as jewelry or pottery.

Henne's also hosts "Spirited Painting Parties," a time when people can get together and paint while having fun with friends.

"It doesn't matter if they've never picked up a brush or not, it's a step-by-step," says Henne. "Everybody just has a good time to get together with friends."

The Winter Festival of Art runs through January 18. Henne's next Spirited Painting Party takes place on January 11, from 7-10 PM. Store hours can be found at their website, http://www.henneart.com.
