Famous Ball Ready To Drop In Times Square

The famous New Year's Eve ball is in place above Times Square. It will come down at the stroke of midnight Tuesday as the New Year arrives in New York. With more than 2,500 Waterford Crystal triangles installed on it and weighing nearly 12,000 pounds, the Times Square ball is a 106-year tradition. About 1-million people are expected to ring in 2014 in Times Square.
