Newhope bus driver cited for accident

A Richland Newhope bus driver has been cited for failure to maintain reasonable control following an accident this week on Springbrook Drive.

Mark Hairston was transporting 8 adults on Dec. 30, 2013, when the rear end of the bus reportedly slid out and went off the right side of the road and tipped on its side according to a Mansfield Police report.

Several passengers were transported to MedCentral Mansfield Hospital with minor injuries. One passenger, Darla Gabor, 49, was transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where she's listed in stable condition.
