Warriors Win At Columbian To Stay Perfect

Ontario's undefeated regular season stayed in tact with a 66-55 win at Tiffin Columbian on Friday night.

The Warriors ran out to a 23-17 first quarter lead behind three triples from senior Josh Plieninger. Brandon Wagner would add 14 first half points, extending Ontario's lead out to 41-27 at the break.

The Tornadoes would get a big 15-9 third quarter to cut the Warriors lead down to single digits and would pull to within six midway through the final quarter, but Columbian would go cold down the stretch as the Warriors secured their 10th straight win.

Four players scored in double- figures for Ontario, with Wagner dropping 17, Lenell Shelby 13, Tyler Boatwright 12 and Plieninger 11. Derek Dryfuse had a team-high 17 points for Columbian, while Josh Flint added 11 for the Tornadoes.

Ontario (10-0, 4-0) will next host NOL foe Sandusky (1-7, 1-2) on Saturday, Tiffin Columbian (3- 4, 1-3) will welcome in Marion Harding (0-7) in non-league play.
