Homeless Count Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for the Richland County Coalition on Housing and Homelessness annual Point in Time count of the homeless. It takes place Tuesday January 28th from 6 am to 9 pm, and involves a search of the entire county. The homeless are surveyed and given direction on finding help. Last year's count found three people living on the streets and eighty in sheltered places. Volunteer training will be held January 24th at 10 am at the Harmony House annex at 188 West Third Street in Mansfield.
