Vice President Joe Biden will lead the United States delegation to the memorial service of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Sharon passed away Saturday at the age of 85 after a massive stroke left him comatose for eight years. Sharon's legacy includes years in the military, and a pivotal decision to pull Israeli troops out of Gaza. Sharon's body lied in state Sunday, giving citizens the opportunity to pay their respects before a planned state memorial service Monday. Biden says he looks forward to paying his respects to Sharon and the unshakable partnership between the U.S. and Israel.
