A true rarity in high school basketball will occur Friday night at the O-rena, when a pair of unbeaten conference foes meet at the midpoint in the season.

13-0 Ontario will host 12-0 Norwalk, in the first ever meeting between the two program's as conference opponents. The Warriors are 5-0 to begin their inaugural season in the Northern Ohio League and will be looking to get a leg-up on the 3-time defending NOL champion Truckers in the league title chase with a win on Friday night. But defeating Norwalk will be no easy task, as the Truckers are currently riding the 9th longest regular season winning streak in the history of Ohio with 55-consecutive victories.

One of those wins came at Ontario a year ago, where Norwalk ran over the Warriors 63-39 on their way to a second consecutive undefeated season. Both Warriors head coach Joe Balogh and Truckers coach Steve Gray acknowledged that each of their roster's have changed since last years meeting and the pair also recognized the similarities between their team's this season.

The players also understand the magnitude of the game and the excitement that has been generated for the contest all around North Central Ohio. Each school has offered pre- sale tickets this week and the game is expected to be the first sell out in the history of the O-rena.

If you can't make it to the game, there will be many ways to watch and listen on Mid-State Multimedia's family of networks.

The game can be seen LIVE on WMFD TV beginning around 7:35 and also heard LIVE on WRGM ESPN Radio on 97.3 FM, AM 1440. http://new.livestream.com/accounts/1194911/events/2611240

This will also be the Ontario Game of the Week with replays on WOHZ Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. and on WMFD TV in high definition Sunday at 3 p.m.
