It's seven years in a row for United Way of Ashland County. The agency celebrated reaching its 2014 Campaign of Dreams goal Thursday at Samaritan on Main in Ashland in the Luray Lanes plaza.

The agency exceeded its goal of $1,060,000 with a final total of $1,064,756. Ev DeVaul, executive director of United Way of Ashland said this marks the seventh straight year the agency has met it's goal.

"As an executive director I see the need everyday but I also see the caring hearts that open and say we got to be sure we're providing help to those in need," DeVaul said.

DeVaul said 14 partner agencies will benefit from the donations.
