Two of three suspects in a January fifth shooting on Burns Street in Mansfield have been arrested on Attempted Murder charges. 27-year-old Devonte Evans and his 25-year-old brother Delbert are in jail. 27-year-old Jarmel Sutton is still being sought. Devonte Evans was arrested on a warrant during a visit to his probation office. Delbert Evans was arrested in Dublin, Ohio. Two of the three men are accused of shooting 25-year-old Eric Downs the third five times, hitting him in the head, hand, and hips. Police says the shooting stemmed from a car accident Downs had with Sutton on Spayer Lane. Sutton is accused of chasing Downs to Burns Street, having a confrontation, and returning later with the Evans brothers. The three men allegedly went to Downs' home and pistol-whipped and shot him. If you know the whereabouts of Jarmel Sutton, call Mansfield Police at 52-CRIME or Sergeant Noblet at 755-9764. Sutton is 6'1" tall, 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
