A Mansfield man charged with attempted murder was arraigned Tuesday morning in Municipal Court.

Sherrick Hunter, 25,  is accused of shooting Corey Moxley, 32,  Sunday morning during an altercation in the 500 block of North Trimble Road.

Moxley told police Hunter shot him and stole his wallet and money.

Hunter's bond was set at $250,000 cash. If he posts bond, he would be placed on electronic monitoring and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Attempted Murder is a second-degree felony and a conviction could bring a maximum prison sentence of eight years.

Moxley was taken to MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, where he caused a disturbance Monday and left without being discharged by a doctor.
