School Bus Driver At Fault In Two-Vehicle Accident

A South Central local schools bus carrying 24 students caused a two-vehicle accident on Ohio 13 Tuesday afternoon, when the bus failed to yield while performing a left-hand turn onto Ohio 603.

A 38-year-old Lorain man driving a black Ford Ranger crashed into the back right end of the bus, but was not injured as he smashed in the front of his pickup. State Trooper Chad Belcher says one student complained of a non-visible injury, but no one was transported to the hospital for injuries.

The 47-year-old bus driver Tracy Shepard of Greenwhich was cited for failing to yield.
