Suspect Wanted For Rape Now Behind Bars

A suspect wanted for rape in Crawford County is behind bars. The Crawford County Sheriff's Office says Chadwick Monroe, 38, was arrested Tuesday at 9:26 p.m.at 268 Nauman St. in Bucyrus, on a felony warrant charging him with rape a first-degree felony.

Deputies responded to a 911 call of a rape at 9:40 a.m. in Jefferson Township. Monroe was not at the scene when they responded to the call.

Monroe is being held in the Crawford County Jail pending an appearance in Crawford County Municipal Court.
