The Clear Fork Colts will look to stop a two game slide this weekend as they ready for two games this weekend. Friday on the road at Madison, then back home Saturday against West Holmes. The Colts will be looking for a series sweep against Madison have won in Bellville 70-57, back in December, while trying to earn a split Saturday evening against the Knights who won the first contest 63-61. Although the Colts have been a tough out this year, the only thing they have to show for it at this point is a record of 3-7 and an OCC mark of 1-5. Clear Fork has lost several close games not only to West Holmes, but also to Lexington 59-54, Wooster 69-65 and state ranked and undefeated Ontario in overtime 84-79. Clear Fork coach Steve Bechtel believes his team needs to be more aggressive in setting screens and fighting through screens. Two players junior Kadin Chrastina and senior Ridge Winand believe the team needs to remain focused and finish games which has been the difference. Had the team been able to do that Clear Fork could well be 7-3. As it is the Colts are looking to finish the season strong especially with the tournament draw coming up two weeks from Sunday at Bucyrus with the Division II sectional tournament.
