Tygers Working To Pass Next Test

There hasn't been much school work to be done at Mansfield Senior with classes being cancelled the last several weeks, but the 11-1 Tygers have still been doing their homework on the basketball court.

Head coach JT Reese refers to each practice as a "pop-quiz" or a "work sheet" to get the team ready for each regular season "test", ultimately leading to the OHSAA tournament "exam". So while school may have been cancelled for the team on Monday, the team still had to complete a "pop-quiz" on the hardwood for Friday's "test" with Lexington.

The Minutemen handed Mansfield their only loss of the season back on December 27, when the Tygers shot an abysmal 27% from the field in a 60-49 stunner. The team has since ripped off 6-straight wins in the OCC and will be looking for seven in a row when 8-7 Lex visits Pete Henry this Friday.
