Five Mansfield Police Officers Sworn In

At 1:00 P.M. Tuesday afternoon, Mansfield Mayor Tim Theaker and Safety Service Director Lori Cope administered the Oath of Office to five new police officers.

Courtland Price, Bryan Ocheltree, Richard Wise, Paul Garneret and John Meyer were all sworn in during a short ceremony in the Mansfield City Council chambers.

Three of the officers will attend the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy for 19 weeks, while two have received the Basic Peace Officer Training and will be assigned directly into the Police Department's Field Training Program in February.
