The Richland County Courthouse is closed until further notice due to a water main break.

Richland County Commissioner Gary Utt said the first two lower floors and the elevator shafts are flooded.

WMFD reporter Greg Heindel is at the courthouse and said official hope to have the courthouse open on Friday.

Heindel said there is no structual damage to the building. He said there is water in the law library but the records are safe.
