A driver runs a red light, causing an accident in downtown Mansfield Thursday morning. Witnesses tell police the woman driving a silver Chevy Cruze was headed north on Diamond Street when she ran a red light at East Second. That's where a van, headed west on Second Street on a green light, struck the passenger side of her car. The air bags deployed, and the woman was stuck in her car for a short time. She was treated and released at the scene. It's unknown if the van driver was hurt.
