A.U. Faculty Exhibit Work At Coburn Gallery

The Coburn Gallery on the campus of Ashland University is holding an art exhibit featuring works from the art department faculty.

The exhibition features art work by George Kocar, Priscilla Roggenkamp, Charles Caldemeyer, Jessica Wascak, Keith McMahon, Larry Schiemann, Keith Dull, Dan McDonald and Coburn Gallery Director Cynthia Petry.

Petry says "A lot of faculty do create a new body of work specifically for this exhibition."

One in particular that stands out is a large three-dimensional piece created by McDonald, that Petry describes as "an object intertwined with an animal".

Petry displayed a piece depicting her grandmother's aspirations and says "It's important for us as faculty to have students see our research."

The Coburn Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public through February 9.
