Day Off From School Finds Many Children Out Sledding

The heavy snow, ice and bitter cold temperatures closed all area schools today but that didn't deter children from going outside. Jerry Howell took his nieces and nephews out for a day of sledding and snowboarding at a location he affectionately calls "our hill." The forecast calls for the snow to be ending tonight but the cold temperatures will prevail for several more days. And that will give local children the chance to sled and snowboard to their hearts content for many more days.
