Trouble on the tracks Thursday morning in Ontario. A railroad snow plow catches fire, and burns.

The old plow was parked on tracks in Harding Yard, just northwest of Walmart. A railroad employee says crews were using welding torches to dismantle the plow last night. It appears some hot embers then reignited overnight, causing the fire.

A passerby noticed flames and called 911 around 5:30 am.  Springfield Township firefighters responded, but determined they couldn't reach the scene. Since the plow was being scrapped anyway, a decision was made to let it burn.
