Dunham's Sports in the West Park shopping center hopes to move to a new location in Ontario. Wednesday night at the Ontario Planning Commission meeting, their final sign permit request was approved.

Alan Ratliff, from Ratliff Custom Homes received the good news from the planning commission.

"This is going to enable us to bring Dunham's to a new location. It'll be a 45,000 sq ft store, the largest in town. The sign is going to be very visible and the timber framing will be reminiscent of the larger sporting good stores. I think we'll be very successful there"

Dunham's hopes to move into an existing storefront in Ontario. The store would be located north of Big Lots off Lexington-Springmill. They plan to open early May 2014.
