Original Published: 2/13/2014A single engine plane had a rough landing in a field near the Galion Municipal Airport Thursday. Lt. Chad Enderby with the Mansfield Post of the State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at 11:30 a.m. He said pilot Streeter Clow had just taken off from the airport when the plane apparently lost engine power. Enderby said the pilot attempted to land the plane in a field but hit a snow bank. The pilot and his passenger were not injured. Clow says he has flown this plane hundreds of times without incident.  The F-A-A will come to inspect it, then Clow says it would be towed back to the airport to be assessed for any damage.
