A late Shelby woman has included a donation to the Richland County dog shelter in her will.

The dog warden told the commissioners Tuesday he received word of this from the woman's attorney. Jordan does not know how much money is involved, but believes it's "in the thousands". He also does not know if the will stipulates how the money should be spent.

Elizabeth Haines passed away last July 25 at the age of 75.
